- After 40 minutes of Gershwin punctuated by periods of meditative silence,
- I got through to a USR technician who told me that USR is no longer
- e-mailing the USRSDL.EXE file to flash-update the Courier modem.
-
- Apparently someone in the government is worried that some crank at the
- North Pole may get hold of the 33.6 code and achieve world domination.
-
- Meanwhile, you can get it from USR via U.S. mail.
-
- If anyone would care to e-mail me a copy, I'd be grateful. As an
- attachment -- uuencoded, binhexed or MIME-encoded -- is best for me.
